Safeguarding

Policy

Ruts Youth follows guidance issued by The FA to help safeguard everyone involved in football.

Please read the Ruts Youth Safeguarding Policy for full details.

Reporting

Anyone who has a concern about the welfare of a child or the behaviour of an adult towards a child or young person under 18 years of age should contact our Club Welfare Officer (CWO) Lorraine Hawkins as a matter of urgency.

Issues of concerns will where necessary be discussed in strictest confidence with our County Welfare Officer.

If the matter is urgent and you cannot contact our club or County FA Designated Safeguarding Officer, you can call The FA/NSPCC 24-hour helpline on 0808 800 5000 – or if it is an emergency because a child or children are at immediate risk, then call the Police or Children’s Social Care in your area.

Images

At times the Club may wish to take photos or videos of the team or individuals in it. We adhere to The FA Guidelines to ensure these are safe and respectful and used solely for the purposes for which they are intended, which is promotion and celebration of the activities of the Club and for training purposes.
