Registration 2019/2020

There are two steps in the registration process for your child for the upcoming 2019/20 season.

  • Registration and payment of Ruts Youth Football subscription and ORA membership (via WebCollect)
  • Surrey Youth League registration

Ruts Youth Football Subscription

The player subscription fee for 2019/2020 has been reviewed and agreed by the committee (taking into account feedback from parents). The fee includes monies paid to the League for registration, public liability insurance, coaching courses, referee fees, pitch fees, tournament applications, equipment and trophies for the end of season presentation evening.

It is mandatory that one parent is a member of the Old Rutlishians’ Association unless already a pre-existing member. Additional parent memberships are also available at minimal cost.

Payment for annual football subscriptions and parent ORA membership will be taken via WebCollect, a new online system in use by the club across all sections.

Full payment must be made before the start of the season (September 2019). Players will not be permitted to play in any matches until this is received.

Initial WebCollect set-up has been completed and the majority of parents should have received login/renewal emails. Please see using WebCollect for further details.

Surrey Youth League Registration

SYL have moved to a new totally electronic registration system for this season (2019/20). To complete a player registration we need

  1. A digital passport photo
  2. Player’s parent/guardian email address.

Digital photos must be a recent (within last 6 months) close-up of the players head only. Image should be cropped square, approx 200×200 pixels in size and jpg, jpeg or png format only.

Once the club secretary has initiated the registration process and uploaded the photo an email will be generated and sent to the provided parent/guardian email address requesting consent.

The parent must clink on the hyperlink in the email at which point they will be taken to PrawnSandwich wherein they must click on the ‘I give consent’ button.

Only when a valid photo has been uploaded and online parental consent given will registration be able to be completed and the player be eligible to play in Surrey Youth League games for season 2019/20.
